5 helpful vi and vim (vi improved) cheat sheets and quick reference cards

Have you used vi or vim just to be frustrated or confused with its key strokes and usage? Well, these 5 VI and VIM Cheat Sheets and Quick Reference Guides should help solve those problems.

The first cheat sheet featured is from Peteris Krumins @ www.catonmat.net, and if you haven’t checked out his site, you should. He has a great resource of scripting guides and tutorials. This cheat sheet revolves around editing mode wihle in VI.

The fourth card, is much more of a reference card, then just your standard cheat sheet as it explains things in more details then most other VI / VIM Cheat Sheets you’ll find. This one was compiled by Donald J Binder.

The last, but surely not least reference card revolves around VIM, and is a 2 page stacked to the brim resource for all things VIM. This great cheat sheet was put together by Michael Goerz and is a must have for Linux and Unix Systems Administrators that spend time in VI.
