Sure, the temperature outside is high, but Iguess it’s also because of this computer who worked hard to understandsome lines of code and to translate them into something that it can thenuse to make me happy. Yes. painting contract . Because running GNOME makes me happy! Andthe 2.27.5 release is no exception there: it has this magic power on me.It’s a good release to get a first feeling of what will be in GNOME2.28, with the new modules now being integrated and new features poppinghere and there, in many differents modules. Ah, if only it could dosomething for the temperature ;-) As always the openSUSE Build Service has the packages available but be aware these are development releases (anything with second version odd numbers in GNOME are development ie: 2.27 vs 2.28 (which will be stable built off the 2.27 packages)). You can add the repositories with: sudo zypper ar http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/GNOME:/Factory/openSUSE_11.1/ GNOME-FACTORYsudo zypper ar http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/GNOME:/Backports:/2.28/openSUSE_11.1/ GNOME-228-BACKPORTChange the refresh:sudo zypper mr -r GNOME-FACTORYsudo zypper mr -r GNOME-228-FACTORYChange the Priority:sudo zypper mr -p 19 GNOME-FACTORYsudo zypper mr -p 19 GNOME-228-FACTORYUpdate:sudo zypper dist-upgradeI haven’t yet tried these packages or install as I’m on openSUSE 11.2 Milestone 4. exterminator .
