Just thought I’d share a pretty fun video of my 2 Year Old Son, Ben Jr, playing his new drum set that he received from Santa Claus on Christmas Morning.
I received some awesome noise cancelling headphones. (no, not really but if you want to donate to a pair, I wouldn’t mind).

Whelp, at about 4.5 months I decided while going for a swim to bring the little tyke in the pool, and to just dip his feet. At first he cried, but then I put him in again, and he loved it. We bring him swimming a few times a week (coating in tons of sunscreen) and he hasn’t cried once in the pool, we can [ continue reading... ]

Well, not such a bad thing. We get to ask the doctor about his little lingering cough, and he’s pretty good with shots. Except for his first set, he got pretty sick. Oh well, wish him luck, hopefully he won’t get sick this run.

Man, people have always said that “They grow quick”, but boy oh boy, you really don’t understand how fast until you have one. Baby Ben Jr is already about 6 and a half weeks old, and it seems like he was born just yesterday, the time is just FLYING by. He’s doing great, at his 1 month checkup he weighed 10lbs 14 Ounces (whoa, what [ continue reading... ]

Well, just thought I would give a quick update. Baby Ben Jr is doing VERY well, he went to his first appointment this past monday and he checked out fine. His yellow tint (jaundice) is going away and his eyes are starting to get their colors.

Well, today is the start of Janurary 2007 which is the month Ben Jr is supposed to be born. Sarah is just into her 9th month and we have packed Ben Jr’s going home back, just time to pack our hospital bags.

Well, it’s been a while since i’ve given a good Ben Jr update so here we go:

I finally purchased something that will help me do the right things during the first year of Ben Jr’s life. Things like when to start giving him full water bathes etc. Seems like a pretty good book, will def. use it as a reference. I added a few pictures in the gallery of Ben Jr stuff, check it out.

So, you may be wondering why Sarah and I decided we would go with the name “Benjamin Kevan Jr”. The last name is pretty obvious (or so I hope), but the 2 reasons for Benjamin Jr are listed below:

Benjamin means “Fathers Right Hand Son”
Benjamin means “Son of Benjamin”

So, there you have it 2 simple and quite funny reasons to name him Benjamin Jr.
