Impressive informational writing is somewhat of an oxymoron. Your article is the exception to this rule. I haven't been so engaged in this kind of content in a long, long time. Thanks for this information.

Hi Marcus, It is your name Marucus?
Very interesting your previous instruction. But I'm considering to install Linux in an internal or external Hard Disk Drive (My PC is desktop Hp with 2 HD, 360 GB each). But I got an 500 GB HD. Where do you recommend to install Linux, internal or external.
I also want the choice to boot by windows vista or Linux. Must I install "GRUB" and if yes, what do I install first Linux or Grub.

Already a friend of mine install the Linux OS in the external and it work fine for several days, but recently when I try to log in to Linux, it is sendign me to a small white windows at the upper left corner of the monitor asking me for an input. The prompt is something like "$jose-josevilla_desktop$ (and the cursor blinking). I got no way to login to Linux so I have to go to windows. I've had tried the linux recovery option (at the initial green windows, I thing that is part of the GRUB boot loader procedure.

This the reason I want to uninstall and reinstall Linux again, looking for a solution for the above issue.

Thank for any help or advice that you can give me!!

The complete installation process is described in details within the user guide:

which also contains most of the screenshots you've published above.

Best Regards
