Fine. As there doesn’t look to be possible to report bug for OpenOffice.org 3.2 in Novell’s Bugzilla, I try here:
There looks to be a bug in OpenOffice.org 3.2.0 Build 9319, which I’ve tried on openSUSE 11.2 x86_64 and 11.1 x86_64 and i586, all with Gnome desktop:
The OOo quickstarter has to be re-enabled for each logout and logon before qs appears in the Gnome panel systray. Re-enable here means first disable qs and finish the tools>option menu with OK, and thereafter enable the qs checkbox again. Then qs appears in the systray during the current session.
I wish I could find a manual oh how to create visualized apps step by step. Do you know of any?
Are there any manuals/books available to learn how to use ZAV 8 for newbies. I also would like any links that you may have to be able to learn how to create the snapshots, virtual applications, msi’s to virtual apps – any information would be greatly appreciated. I have downloaded the Novell ZAV 8.0 user guide but this is not helping me learn the application to create virtual applications. I tried the snapshot method and this did not work for Open Office 3.2.1.
Please keep in mind that this is my first time using Novell Zenworks Vitalization v8.
I am using XP SP3 on a 1.6Ghz system that is on a SLES 10 SP3 / OES2
SP2 network with ZENworks 7 SP1.
Please help! ASAP
Thank you!
