installation is simple.
after opensuse 11.1 installation, download and install NVidia driver.(should be under init 3)

do the followings. (opensuse forum said.. it supposed not be done in opensuse 11.0 or 11.1). but that is only way you can enjoy desktop effect.

su -
nvidia-xconfig --composite
nvidia-xconfig --render-accel
nvidia-xconfig --add-argb-glx-visuals -d 24

if does not work. please log out and in again.

I am using 11.1 , conky, awn(my own compilation version), desktop effect(compiz)
working fine. except break gnome terminal after installation of awn

XGL has been depreciated but it&#039;s just the Build Service location they have put Compiz w/o the NOMAD patches. 

The link is available in the main blog. 

The XGL packages are not actually included in that build service (as long as I remember).</description>
