If XFCE Windows Decorations do not work.. and your only choice are emerald themes there is a great possibility that they will not work for you (or may not exist in 11.1 or later versions.. that's in discussion (removal is)). I haven't had any issues with it, at any rate. If it's not going to be maintained, I'd sure like to see the themes moved/ported/downlodable to the integrated compiz features in the ubuntu gnome desktop.
